RAILWAY SERVICE
There definitely is a feeding frenzy on WW1 stuff these day's. Tell me I'm wrong and this is a really rare one I'm not aware of. As I've seen these on Bosley's I think if I can remember at 40 pound or so.

It does seem as if this is one of the rarest of the railway badges, most do have name of the area for the employee or the railway company name on them.
A full explanation on the reasoning for the rarity of this badge can be found on Mrs Bosley's website (£180 on that site). If you think this is expensive, a Bute Docks (Cardiff) one goes for nearer £300. Ta |

There you go, live and learn. I remember now where I saw it at around 40. It was when I was back in the US and bid on one but it went for about 48 pound.
I think based on the Bosley site, I'll buy them if I see them as it seems worth the investment. Thanks Simon. |
