Default Shropshire Yeomanry. O.S.D. cap badge

Purchased in Shrewsbury yesterday, but I cannot find another example on the forum to compare it with.

Looking at K&K Volume 2, it appears to be Fig. 2308 and dates from the time that the Shropshire Yeomanry became a regiment of the Royal Armoured Corps. In gilding metal. Also Anodised, sealed 24th November 1950.

I have a similar badge in white metal which I was told was made and issue in Italy during WWII.
