Default Help with identification please.

Hi all

I'm new to the forum and not from a military background, so apologies for my ignorance!

I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the attached picture. Regiment, year approx, possible location etc.

It is my wife's grandfather, Michael Smith (on the right). He was from St. Lucia, and we were told he served in Egypt during WW2.

Any information very gratefully received.

Many thanks

The three men are wearing the Royal Arms General Service Corps cap badge which was used by soldiers in basic training prior to allocation to a regiment or corps. Date wise about 1943 onwards.
