Roy,

I think the forum has saved him a wedge of cash and a red face.

Very pleased to hear it Jerry,

We can't all be experts on everything but if we...'know a man who is'..that's just as good.

Another 'well done!' to this forum..!

Cheerio,

Roy

It is good news that one person was saved from making an expensive mistake.

However I would like to know if the eBay underbidder(s) decided to buy or reject the solar helmet with fake LRDG badge?

(As I presume, if the top bidder reneged then the item would be offered to underbidder)

The ideal scenario would be the seller was left holding the dud, but I fear this may not be the case.

That is why I am happy to be a member of this and other forums, as long as the members are willing to speak out when items are offered for opinions. Showing before buying is common on most if not all the other forums when buying online.

A victory for the forum.

I do hope (in response to Keith's comment) that it has been left in the sellers hands.
