It is good news that one person was saved from making an expensive mistake.
However I would like to know if the eBay underbidder(s) decided to buy or reject the solar helmet with fake LRDG badge? (As I presume, if the top bidder reneged then the item would be offered to underbidder) The ideal scenario would be the seller was left holding the dud, but I fear this may not be the case. Keith
