Default Some AA Badges - are they genuine?

Good day Gentlemen

Here are some AA badges I acquired recently. I know nothing about AA badges except that many on the market today are of more recent manufacture. Are these pukka?

1 - 17/21 motto. Lugs and marked JR Gaunt London
2 - 10th Hussars. slider marked Firmin London
3 - 3rd Caribiniers. Slider marked JR Gaunt Birmingham
4 - Royal Hussars. slider marked JR Gaunt London
5 - 1st Royal Dragoons. slider marked Firmin London
6 - RTR beret badge with lugs marked JR Gaunt London
7 - 14/20th Hussars?? slider marked Firmin London

By the way these are surplus to my requirements.

Now that doesn't surprise me Griff . probably made ,approved ,sealed etc and worn for a week and then dispensed with as not practical . ll the lugged ones that ive seen are marked Gaunt London. That would possibly indicate that it was only ever produced as one batch.

During the days of my service 70s to 90s the 14/20th Hussars beret badge was black, as far as I remember. Why is this one brass coloured?

These badges will be heading for the For Sale page but I need some advice on price. I'm just looking for a fair price for each.

Originally, the first anodised issue was gold. This was then changed to black/gold. My notes say the sealing date for the black and gold was in July 1961.

Hi chaps,
my notes show all gold up until 1969 when they changed to the black hawk. These can be found made gold & black and also the older all gold versions painted over black - if you see what I mean.

I believe there was a period between 74 - 89 where a cloth badge was worn on the beret, but went back to the black and gold hawk until 1992, when they merged with the Royal Hussars to become the Kings Royal Hussars.

Regards all

Bess
