Default Badges bought today, help with a few needed.

The officers collars are all ok I think. The DevonYeo is a fake. But...
The two Suffolk territorials. One with a Bodhill mark on the slider, the other with some wear from polishing. Both sliders rock solid. Hopeful on these.
The Glamorgan and Surrey Yeomanry, not sure on either, even after studying the forum.
Munster fusiliers, again not sure, lugged instead of slider?
Small SWB, think it's a fake but fingers crossed.
Any help or comments most welcome and appreciated.
Cheers
John

The Suffolks with the ends of the laurel wreaths is the Bodhill? Not keen myself.

Glam Yeo looks wrong on the lugs I am afraid.

RMF should be on a slider if it is a 1916 economy or is it a polished officers' collar?

The RMF is a fat tiger fake die, without the overlay the cat looks much less portly.

Glam Yeo is fake as said.

The left Suffolks is a fake, one on the right is genuine (BP&Co).

Gm Surrey Yeo is fine.

Devon RFA is a fake also.

SWB is a fake.

The OSD collars I expect will be fine as too the RM. I’ll leave others to comment on the Indian badges.

Thanks both, not too bad a haul as the officers badges are ok. Bought cheap as chips so the good suffolk territorial and surrey yeo make the buy ok
The RM collar is a silver gilt officer so thats ok.
Just got to go through the Indian collars now.
Cheers both,
John

Would need to see better pics of the Indian badges. The only one that I think is OK from what I can see here is the 2nd Punjab Regt. The Rajputana Rifles should be blackened and slightly larger with a voided crown. None are collar badges however.

The Rajputana Rifles is a sweetheart.
The others seem typical cast Indian quality badges. I know little about Indian stuff, by their size I assumed they were collars, but I genuinely do not know. Any help appreciated.

Now that I can see them better, I have to say I am not very fond of any of them, although some could possibly be period.
They look like castings of castings, and even though most Indian made badges are rather crude, they are generally better than these.

PS, collar badges were not commonly worn for most regiments in the Indian Army, and when they were, tended to used mostly on British officer OSD or sometimes on full dress tunics. VCOs and Indian OR had stand collars that did not use collar badges, although that changed somewhat closer to WW2 with role collars for VCOs.
