Default Combined Ops Plaque?

Hi all,

This is my second posting of this query since the first one disappeared in Fridays system change.

I came across this plaque in a local antique/charity shop and since it falls way outside of my limited sphere of knowledge I would like to put it before the Forum for identification.

I am aware that before the system difficulties two members of the Forum had responded. Unfortunately I do not know who they were but many thanks gents for your input.

What we appear to have is a brass plaque depicting a Merchant Navy Crown, a RAF Eagle, A Royal Navy (?) anchor and a ship. The plaque size is approx 5" wide x 7" tall.

The suggestions received were a combined operation involving the three services but excluding the army.

Can anyone assist with a more definite identification?
