Default Royal Canadian Army Service Corps

Hello,

I have these two RCASC badges, they are slightly different in size. I assume one is a cap badge and the smaller one is a collar badge.

Can someone give me the measurements of the cap and collar badge ?

Albert.

The difference between a cap and collar isn't slight -- collars are almost 10 mm smaller dia. Caps are about 40 mm wide, collars about 30 mm. I'd say you have 2 variants of caps, esp. with the voided crown vs. solid crown.

Thanks David,

Would this be a makers variation, or does it say something about the time it was worn ?

Albert.

Default Cap badges

Hi

There are a number of different cap badge variants. The 2 badges are both cap badges. Here are a few more variants off my site.

Thanks for your answer, and a nice site you have there.
