Another tunic... analysis...

Another Second World War tunic that raises some questions. What do you spot?

Well,

Rank stripes are 1960's vintage. Most C& Y titles have Canada in the title...there are variants that don't which is fine...this title looks to be the correct vintage. In this case I would expect to see a seperate CANADA title. The 8th army slip ons....nope...If worn the 8th army crusader patch would be one one shoulder ( left shoulder) and sewn on.

Yes, stripes are well off, did they still wear the 8th Army after they went to NWE? This one has British made canvas titles/patches

The vendor states that the slip-ons are not part of the sale; none-the-less with all of the other problems with the insignia, this tunic combination does not appear to be original.
