Help wanted
Hi. I've been trying to identify an air force AG Brevit which I uncovered when clearing out my aunts house.
The only information I have is that it would have been in the house for at least 25 years but probably a lot longer as 3 members of the family were associated with the RAF as far back as WW2. The Brevit is not RAF Blue but on a black cloth background with one white or silver wing. The "roundel" contains the capital letters AG within a gold laurel wreath. Any help I can get in identifying this item will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello roywillis43, welcome to the Forum. Your account is active and open for posts.
From the description of the brevet is is an Air Gunner. An image would help with further determinations.

Hello Roy, I didn't notice this post previously and as no one else has bothered to answer please see the links below as this sounds like what you are describing:
http://www.britairforce.com/imagepages/xraf_pff.htm See 'AG' under 'Previous Brevets' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircrew_brevet Regards, Craig |
