Is the triangle red and black or could it possibly be red and dark blue ?
Found a photo on line described as : "British Army Royal Artillery Group Formation Sign" https://www.tels-insignia.com/home.php No number on it but if yours is artillery could it be 71st Regiment ? Edit : Just discovered there were 3 different 71st Regiments in the Royal Artillery 1. 71st (Forth) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery was an air defence unit of Britain's Territorial Army (TA) formed in Scotland just before World War II. It served in North Africa and Italy during the war. 2. 71st (East Lancashire) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery was an air defence unit of Britain's Territorial Army (TA), which was raised just before the outbreak of World War II and served as part of Anti-Aircraft Command during and after the war. 3. 71st (West Riding) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery .
