Default Firmin Hallmarked 1940 (appeal)

Hi All

I am looking for images of Firmin Hallmarked Silver Officers badges for the year "1940" ..... specifically just the hallmarks. So...if you have such a badge could you post up some images please?

I am trying to see if there are variations in the marks from Firmin .....

Reason :- I have a bit of a sus badge that I need to qualify.

May or may not help but C&T Auctioneers had a silver Firmin Suffolk cap badge in Feb 2020, the image shows a Firmin mark to the front - it comes up on Google images,

Hi

Wonder if your "F & S" mark may not be for "Fattorini & Sons". Just a thought as there are similar marks for this firm on a database of British maker's marks.

Just search "british silver maker's marks" or anything else you care to. Mr Google is very understanding...

I don't think Fattorini made regular army badges - though they produced home volunteer units etc in the 1st WW. In any case they are still in business.
