Default help needed with this Lancers badges

Hi,
I need your help with these lancers badges :
-XXXII lancers ? Is it a cap badge or a shoulder title ? When was it worn ?
-18L shoulder titles, find this : https://collection.nam.ac.uk/detail....13-10-20-20-13 But was it still worn during WW1 ?
-Unknown Lancers monogram ?
Thanks to every one
Best regards

Hi,

All the badges were worn by Indian cavalry regiments. The 18th Lancers shoulder title is from the period 1903-1922, as is that of the 32nd Lancers. Unusually, the same badge was also worn as a cap badge by the 32nd during that period. The 3rd badge is of the Central India Horse pre-1922. There were two regiments of CIH: the 38th and 39th during this period.

Simon, Thanks for your research, the badge is the same. I think it is a pre-1902 cap or pouch badge ??

Thank you too for your research & much appreciated answer !
The 3rd badge seems to be a Calcuta Light Horse badge rather than a Central India Horse badge what do you think about this ?
Kind regards

There is no way that the central letter is an 'L', definitely an 'I'. Even the saleroom image shows an I so I suspect the id is incorrect.
Cheers,
Alex

Having had the chance to compare the monogram with a Central India Horse button in my collection I agree now that it is indeed to this Unit and not the CLH, as Alex states, an incorrect id at the Auction House I imagine.

Thanks Simon & Alex for your further researches ! Indian cavalry badges seem to be a difficult issue...In your opinion, is this large badge a cap badge or a pouch badge ?
Kind regards
