Default british made rising sun collars

are all the British made collars smaller than the Australian made ones???
I have some unmarked and some tiptaft, J R Gaunt that are 38mmx26mm
And all my Aust ones Luke, Stokes etc are 40mmx28mm
any ideas??

I believe J R Gaunt was one of the earliest suppliers of badges and buttons to the Australian military. They were contracted in 1902/1903 to supply the badges and buttons to be worn on the first Universal Pattern Uniform.
