Default Not a Kings Liverpools collar badge

Despite being sold on E bay as a collar badge, I am pretty certain it is not, for one thing I have seen other identical examples of this badge but never a facing example.

The badge has 3 lugs and is marked Ludlow on the rear of the scroll and I wonder if anyone has seen other lugged examples of OSD cap badges by this maker ?

P.B.

Yes, I was watching this - I even wrote to the seller saying that it is an OSD cap badge not a collar badge. Incidentally, Ludlow marked collar badges are fairly scarce. Ludlow (and other manufacturers) used blades, lugs and even sliders.

This is a typical Ludlow cap badge - made between 1933 - ?1945. I have a number of these (see my album) - in fact I'm probably going to offer some of my duplicates to Forum members.

I've just checked; I have Ludlow marked S&G and OSD cap badges with blades, 3 loops and 2 loops. - I'll try and get some photographs.
