Default RAAC cloth shoulder titles

Having recently purchased a collection of Armoured Corps cloth badges, I would be pleased to know if the Australian badges amongst them are authentic. If they are, I would also like to know the period that they were worn.

Many thanks.

Mick,

many thanks. Could you please tell me if they are wartime or post war?

The top title dates from 1949 and they were in wear with that border until about 1962, at which point new patterns were issued without the border (as per the second title) and existing stocks were ordered to be issued with the border cut away.

The last title would date from 1962 onwards. These titles were worn until the abolition of battledress in 1996.

They are all post WW2. Keith's post explains it well.

So what others did you get? I'm also a big collector of RAAC items myself.
