Officers RM lion and crown badge (kings crown)
Wanted - Officers RM lion and crown badge (kings crown), for beret / N01 peak cap.
Or directions to find one. Realise this probably isnt the place to ask, but suspect the post would get lost in the wanted section. Thanks John |

John ... www.deadspartan.co.uk has a couple inevitably on the pricey side.

Thanks Sunray. Think ive found a cheeper way round this £85 problem, but my solution would only invite derision from the cap badge purists
As usual you see them on ebay but never when you want one Last edited by Restrikes-ok; 03-07-22 at 10:07 AM. |

I think a copy is simply that, it has no value whatsoever and is pointless, if you had an original beret, for example, then placed a copy badge upon it, I suppose it would be rather like a fine Georgian table with a chair from Ikea.

Sorted (so far), just need to see how well it adheres to a vertical board long term

needle and cotton, sew it onto the backing fabric, , lasts for ever so long as you can tie knots

My solution was gluing (with good quality glue) a drawing pin to the back of the lion and crown. The drawing pin had to be painted navy blue to match the background felt. This is to prevent the drawing pin being seen from the gaps in the crown. The clutch pin is then glued to the back of the board. Maggpie gave me advice on this. I can also remember folk sewing in badges to their berets when the stems broke or to prevent other folk nicking their capbadge |
