Not sure of value, but I think that is a 6th Armored Division flash. During WW2 Ayrshire Yeo were 152 Field Regt in this division.

An interesting arrangement whereby the 6 Armd Div sign was worn as a slip-on on the shoulder strap with the title fixed with press studs to the top of the sleeve - of a KD shirt I imagine.

Default Thank you Wikipedia

The 6th Armoured Division was a Second World War, British Army formation, created on 12 September 1940. The unit was initially supplied with Matilda and Valentine Tanks, which were replaced by Crusader tanks and then finally with the M4 Sherman Tank.[3] It participated in the Operation Torch assault landings in Algeria and Morocco in November 1942, and saw its first action as part of V Corps of the First Army in Tunisia. After Tunisia it participated in the Italian Campaign as part of the Eighth Army, and ended the war in Austria, under the command of V Corps.

KD dress i am sure.

And in July 1946 the 6th.Armd.Div .was redesignated and became the 1st.Armd. Div. We said "Goodbye " to the Rhino and adopted the 'Spanner'......which we ditched in may 47 and got a new Rhino....see pic below.

152nd FIELD REGIMENT RA (Ayrshire Yeomanry) (TA)

The words AYRSHIRE YEOMANRY embroidered in white into a red background. This was worn at the top of both sleeves of the Battle Dress Blouse attached to a slip on 6th Armoured Division Formation badge. They were worn depending on the Commanding Officer being a Yeoman or not a Yeoman. Very much a put it on, take it off, designation.
