Thanks Brian,

This appears to have been one of the smaller binders and I am very pleased with the contents, the larger ones must be quite something.

"Thanks to Taff I made a "cheeky" offer on Bobs Smith`s archive Binder named " Volunteers" on Ebay. The offer was accepted and the binder arrived a short time ago."

Glad to be of service Peter!

The large Suffolk Yeomanry 1794-1890 folder I bought was bulging at the seams.
Well worth making the seller an offer if you see something you might be interested in. All the binders I have bought have had far more in them than the eBay listing suggested.

I bought two folders on the East Riding Yeomanry and they were well worth it, as mentioned above there was more material in the folder than the listing, of particular interest were photos of museum uniform items that seem to no longer exist and also some correspondence with members of the regiment and OCA in the 1960's.

Cheers,

Neil.

I was lucky enough to win two volumes of Yorkshire Hussars and a volume of West Riding Yeomanry.

Very happy to share if anyone wants to know anything from it or wants copies.

Cheers,

Andy C
