Default 3rd & 3/4th County of London Yeomanry

I bought this badge this morning and was very happy with it until I checked my Wilkinson. He has an example with a slider mine has lugs which have small feet which I am told is not a good sign. Should this badge have lugs or a slider?

Malcolm,

thank you for your positive appraisal which has quashed my doubts. Many thanks for posting the images.

I have about ten variations on the 3/4 CLY badge ranging from cast to press formed, both with sliders and lugs. I have a couple that appear to be 'in theatre' productions and a lone chromed variant with a Queens crown that puzzled me but now is believed to be carry over tooling to produce some sort of car badge in the 1950's.

The badge issued to me in 1959 had a slider and was immediately buffed down to smooth as was the fashion at the time. It had to handed in when the regiment amalgamated to form the KCLY.
