Default Information Please

I recently acquired this facing pair of what I think are guilt brass RAF sleve eagles as can be seen from the photos they have 2 fixing bolts with brass nuts an the backing plates are present the eagles have a slight curve to them.I origionally thought they might be 2 pathfinder badges from the iffy photo I origionally got but as they are a facing pair i think they are sleve eagles but from what time period and what uniform I don't know. Comments please

Graham

I'll go with WWI era RAF eagles but like you, I figure what do I know. I'm not clear on whether they should be paired with the crown or not. Steve (arrestingu) will have an accurate and useful comment eventually, I'm sure. He has a marvelous group of eagles; see a recent post in RNAS on eagles.
Nice find!

The WW1 eagles generally have three screw posts. Most facing pairs in brass with two are taken from the post WW2 Master Aircrew badges.
