Blue Petty Officers Beret Badge
Hi all, anyone able to definitively identify what this is? Not having a Kings crown, I don't think its for the wosely sun hat worn before WW2 and don't think its anything to do with the WRNS. I have a vague memory that either the Australian or New Zealand Navy wore badges like this, but may be remembering wrong? Anyone any idea?

Any idea what on? I've seen the RAN in peaked caps, slouch hats and baseball caps, but never seen anyone in a beret (though that doesn't mean they don't or never have done?)

The "Australian Military Sales" website says RAN junior sailor hat badge current issue worn by Seaman and Leading Seaman ranks, but doesn't say in what hat it's worn.
