WHATS THIS BUTTON ? RC ?
I just bought a load of Gurkha buttons and there's a couple of ones that I can't identify ( I know I should know and I'll probably kick myself ) but it's the black horn Light infantry button with Kings Crown and the initials RC between the stringed bugle.

I thought this was going to be easy - but 43 views and not a suggestion?

Probably because the picture is so small that we cannot see the button clearly. Can you post a close up photograph of the button?

If it is RG then 18th Royal Garhwal Rifles, 10th battalion (1922-1947)

You might well be right - it could be a G - once I have the buttons in hand I'll confirm but the 18th RGR could be a very good shout - I thought it was probable that they'd be Indian given the rest of the group. Many thanks.
