Indian Army Help Appreciated
Can any Forum member identify this silver badge. It is marked J&CO and hallmarked for Birmingham 1916/17. It has two silver wire pins for fixing which appear contemporary to its manufacture.

Looks like the scroll of a 4th Rajputs Officers badge - Example here, albeit a different year /hallmark

That was a very fine badge. The "wires" are remains of the attachment for the rest of the badge, now broken off
