SAS beret on ebay
did anyone on here buy this?

I thought with the exception of Paddy Mayne, at the time of Normandy all SAS wore the maroon beret?

Awful beret as fake as a US$2 bill. The SAS originals and other old hands from
were unofficially allowed by Paddy Maine to wear the sand beret in 1944/5. On period pictures you see mixed wear majority maroon but some sand. But certainly not this one!!!!Cheers JB.
