Not Canadian - they didn't wear those collar-point patches and certainly did not wear a skull badge. They remind me of Polish WWII uniforms. Could the cap badge be the free Polish eagle?

I think Peter is right looks very Polish to me. The beret badge looks to have wings on it and the mannor in which he wears the beret itself is very polish in style!

I don't think it is Polish, I don't recognise any of the badges plus they tended to customise their blouses.

I'm having the impression it is from Belgium.
