Default Welsh Dragon badge

Hi All,
I would be grateful for identification of this badge, measures 77x44mm approx. and has 2 copper lugs E-W.
It could be linked with The South Wales Borderers Regiment or The Monmouthshire Regiment.
Thanks, Tinto

Tinto,
I believe this is a fantasy item... The origins are probably the Regimental Museum..

I'm going to be a tad more generous and suggest that it is a 'horse brass'. Many 'horse brasses' have never been near a horse but are made as souvenirs for tourists or to decorate pubs. This may be a 'Welsh' horse brass.

I'd go with Matti as the scource of this badge.
I have seen it attributed as a band pouch badge, but have never seen a photo of it used as such.
What it is not is a genuine Glengarry badge. These appear in their hundreds on repro dealers stalls and on the internet.
Hwyl,
Kevin
