19th Century British Army Medal hanging on a Chain
Hello,
please can anyone help identify the medal or badge hanging from a soldier's left breast pocket? Thanks very much. Terry I've also attached close-ups of his tunic buttons. |

Looks like a watch fob Terry - as he's wearing it in uniform it may engraved as a prize for shooting or something similar.

I think it may be a price shooting medal, as I have seen such of a very similar design.

At a guess.... KOYLI (very small photos of the buttons).... but you can make out a rose and a horn.

I've got something similar, a chain and fob with army temperance on it.

I was going to suggest an Army temperance medal/fob as well - many were quite ornate, as this appears to be.
