Royal Navy Cloth Title Red on Dark Navy Blue

Hi Team

I have searched the forum for info on this type of RN cloth title.

There have been discussions on RN titles but nothing on this colour(I have not come across any).

Its embroidered on Dark blue felt on black stabilizer fabric.

Is this WWII or Post WWII era ,if so could this have been worn by itself or could it have been used (if WWII) a RN Combined Ops FS?

Hi there, there is a thread on the forum about exactly this design of badge from about 7 years ago I think, I know I started it! If I can find it I'll re post on it!

I did come across that thread, but could not make out if it was WWII era or a mystery title? There is another thread with the same result no conclusion.

Can you confirm the one I have is WWII or post WWII era.

Simply going on the vividness of the colour, the size of the thread and it's general condition I would say this badge is post-war.

My one I will put as a post war title.

Going by what you mentioned Pete, I believe a blocked type letters would be a better indication of WWII era title.
