Hello Andy,
Quite Frankly, I never give too much thought upon "square ends" as very clearly, so many were worn during the Second World War by various soldiers in the Guards Division, the embroidery is far more interesting.

Indeed, I intend to keep this badge.
That said, I’m interested to know it’s worth - I’m totalling the (replacement) value of my collection. Im also wondering if my household insurance is good enough, or if I should have an additional policy.
