Yes, I have this one:
Intelligence Corps Field Security (FS) armlet. Locally made this one is marked 556 F.S.S. and is unfortunately badly mothed!

556 Field Security Section was located in Karachi from c1942 to 1947. The armlet is also marked No 11. FSS typically consisted of an officer and 12 NCOs.

Listed in the Catalogue of Clothing and Necessaries 1949 Section CB Armlets, Badges, Chevrons and Titles

CB1622 ARMLET Dark Green, Grey, Dark Green Unlettered

Thankyou for the information, and that’s a nice unit marked example, so they were only worn post war then ?? With the information being 1949 ?

Field Security units existed throughout WW2 and the term was in use until the 1960s when replaced by ‘Counter Intelligence’. I believe that the FS armlets were worn during WW2 and on through to the 1960s. The 1949 COSA reference just indicates that the armlets were in the stores catalogue at that date. It was unlettered so that FS could be added and other letters were used to indicate different Intelligence Corps functions.
