Good afternoon all.
Today moving on from the Welsh now with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Again we have officer's/snco's and or badges. 1. Officer's smaller grenade. 2. Comparison size to fur hat badge 3. Officers w/m badge on pin 4. 23rd foot officers small brass badge 5. 23rd foot or's large brass badge. 6. Comparison size between the two. 7. SNCO's fire gilt badge. 8. Or's brass badge. 9. Comparison showing the difference in quality between the two can also see difference in flame width. Enjoy. Wow! That's another lovely grouping.
I have often wondered about the two sizes of the brass glengarry for 23rd Foot, thank you for clearing that one up. Now I just need to find a smaller one to complete my pair...! |

Yeah the small officers 23rd don't come up very often, even the large when genuine don't as well.
The best though is the officers s/g badge as a quality little number. Thanks for the comments, I'll will be loading up my top 10 glengarry's over the next few days, but for starters here is no 1. Ta Jonathan DSC01163.jpg |

Yeah orange and has no 51 on the front.
Here is another VB where the SNCO hasn't been overzealous with the elbow grease. Ta Jonathan DSC01233 (3).JPGDSC01236 (2).JPG |
