Hi bought this Welsh Horse and wouldn't mind a view on it, is it a good one? though the slider looks like it may be a replacement?

A fine badge with its original slider and bronzed finish. Was there any particular reason you feel the slider is not original?

Examples are found with sliders like this exhibiting a gentle taper and also the prototypical ‘extruded’ WW1 type slider.

Jerry hard to say as cannot really see but obviously its Hard Soldered can see greyish blob under slider, will try to take picture tomorrow, many thanks Billy
