Hi BP,
The star badge is the only one I have ever seen. This was sold on Ebay almost 5 years ago and was part of a large Argentinian collection that was sold. Unfortunately I was not successfull on getting this item, but if memory recalls, bidding was fierce and it did sell for a hefty price. The Kings crown IAMC is an easier badge to find. As for issue periods, sorry I do not have any information regarding the star badge. Steven |

Sorry to necropost but I found this the other day, and though it would make a good reference for this thread too.
The chap pictured is the CO of 60 PFA Lt.Col. A.G. Rangaraj and he definately seems to be wearing the same KC badge noted above. Good view of the denison too. There's also quite a good article (and source of the photo) on the subject: http://kapyongkorea.wordpress.com/20...ever-heard-of/ BP

Looks like I need to get some Indian insignia for my Korean collection now. And some medals I think. |

There is (I believe) a proper Indian KW medal (or actually a "peacekeeping medal" with Korea bar) but I haven't seen one!
I have actually seen the Indian POW exchange SSI from just after the armistice, but not the field ambulance one. Oh well.
