Fond memories of this old tradition whilst serving in the Royal Marines ... even in Borneo on certain patrols in and around the border areas.
One of the worst days of the RN, 31st July 1970 ... Black Tot Day - grown men crying, black armbands in rig, coffins thrown off the arse-end of ships, men refusing to sign-on.
