Default Can anybody help with service records, please?

Hello All,

Can anybody help out a friend with info on her Great Grandfather's service records, please?

I quote directly from her below:

"30137 PTE F C Edney R.W. FUS (his name is Frederick Charles Edney, born 1895 West Ashford and sadly died 1941 when a train hit him)"

The info she has is from his medal pair inscriptions.

Many thanks in advance,

Phil

From the Records available he appears to be a member of the "Derby Scheme", who enlisted 10th December 1915, was then placed into the 'B' Class Army Reserve until his call-up in January 1916 to the 16th(Reserve)Bn, Royal Fusiliers. He was later transferred to the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.
