Silver metal Royal Fusiliers
Gents, I have several Royal Fusiliers on sliders in brass, all circa WW1. However I also have this example in silver metal with lugs.
Does anyone have any info on what this may be attributed to? Bess |

1st VB Royal Fusiliers? Or did they have a scroll beneath?
I have W/M one, I think with N/S lugs though perhaps W/E, I can't remember which of the VBs its labelled as. |

These have been identified as 4th V.B. .
1st V.B. does indeed have the scroll below it Leigh like here: https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ctureid=183283 |

Ta, I suspect I've got mine labelled at the moment as probably 3rd VB having read the suggestion somewhere.

Royal Fusiliers VB Officers wore bullion badges in their FSC/Forage caps, never silver.

I’ve never seen a 2nd V.B. numbered scroll cap badge either. P.S. does anyone know what the RF Militia badge in BM sold for at Bosley’s recently? |

Thanks Keith, seeing that has made my night after Arsenal tried to ruin it. Lovely badge.
