Default Marine Commando parachute bullion

Hello! I bought these patches years ago...they came together with a yellow and blue cord.
My question is about the background of the bullion parachute patch...why is green? It's because belongs to Marine commando??? Thank you!

Just in case you were not aware those wings and shoulder titles were not worn together. The curved red on navy shoulder titles were/are only worn on jumpers.

Two strands primrose yellow and one strand dark blue. Royal Army Pay Corps officer's lanyard.
