That's right, quite a few of the squadron members undertook the Reserve Danish Para course, (you didn't have to be para trained or have completed the "Q" test to attend it) There were also opportunities to undertake the Belgian Para Commando course and if you were para trained, you could go on Exercise "Honey gift" in the US and get your US wings.

1984-86 and 1996-97. The collars and shoulder title are not original as I had to give them back (and never actually wore them).

I never got issued any shoulder titles or saw anybody wear them

Seeing this brought back some memories. I served in 1986 prior to joining up full time (Royal Air Force) in 1987, based out of Peronne Road. The physical training was tough but learning the morse was a nightmare!

Yeah, 12 words a minute! I was with C Troop at Peronne Road too, you must have been a couple of courses behind me, I was B319.
