Unknown Medical Corps (V) Badges
Hi, I have 2 badges pictured which I am having trouble identifying. I know they are RAMC Volunteer/Reserve units as they came in with a load of similar badges. I thought the Wyvern was 243 Wessex Field Hospital but shape and colours are wrong. Please advise. Regards, Paul

That’s not a Wyvern, a Wyvern has only one (front) set of legs. 😀😀😀 T |

Both are great RAMC Hospital patches. The 217th is an especially good one as it is not as common as the 257th.

I'm still looking for a 207 (Manchester) General Hospital RAMC (V) one.

Chris you and me both, and for me quite few others as well. Do you just collect RAMC or also RAF?
I just picked up a 19 General Hospital that I am quite over the moon about. And equally so due to a member sending me a TMW AeroMed Evac patch!!! Have you seen Sean's excellent album? He is the one who got me started on RAMC, and then Billy sent me a few RAF patches and so I am now aggressively going for them. https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...p?albumid=3063 Open it only if you must because it is quite habit forming....but in a good way! Hi T, My head is dutifully hung in shame, I realised as I posted this that even I recognised Wyverns and Dragons and I would be chastised for this. Good call. All the best, Paul
