Default Unknown Medical Corps (V) Badges

Hi, I have 2 badges pictured which I am having trouble identifying. I know they are RAMC Volunteer/Reserve units as they came in with a load of similar badges. I thought the Wyvern was 243 Wessex Field Hospital but shape and colours are wrong. Please advise. Regards, Paul

Hang your head in shame!
That’s not a Wyvern, a Wyvern has only one (front) set of legs.

Both are great RAMC Hospital patches. The 217th is an especially good one as it is not as common as the 257th.

I'm still looking for a 207 (Manchester) General Hospital RAMC (V) one.

Chris you and me both, and for me quite few others as well. Do you just collect RAMC or also RAF?

I just picked up a 19 General Hospital that I am quite over the moon about. And equally so due to a member sending me a TMW AeroMed Evac patch!!!

Have you seen Sean's excellent album? He is the one who got me started on RAMC, and then Billy sent me a few RAF patches and so I am now aggressively going for them.

Open it only if you must because it is quite habit forming....but in a good way!

Hi T, My head is dutifully hung in shame, I realised as I posted this that even I recognised Wyverns and Dragons and I would be chastised for this. Good call. All the best, Paul
