It's of white metal? A Queen's Own Hussars NCO's arm badge I think, except it has a slider.

I believe you're right. It is however made of brass and presumably as a replacement for a missing cap badge? regards

As mentioned in the above post it’s a sand cast 7th Hussars NCO armbadge , the slider has been added at a later date . It’s not a cap badge. !!!!!! 3748 Hussar |

there is no evidence of any other fitting so the slider was fitted at the time of manufacture. For this reason, I suggested that that it may have been used as a cap badge, not that it was a cap badge. Strange things happen in war situations. I do appreciate that it is an NCO sleeve badge though. Regards, Iain
