Default Duke of Wellington.

I was pleased to obtain this rather nice photo via Ebay of this Gentleman from the Duke of Wellington Regiment.
Could anyone hazard a guess as to the date of the photo. The only clues I can see are the Crown on his Helmet Plate is a Kings Crown and the Photographers stamp shows him to be Francis E Jackson of 42 Commercial Street Halifax. The actual size of the Photo is 14cm x 9.3cm

Judging from the total lack of medal ribbons, end of the Boer war and Prior to WW1.
