cavalry 4DG and 10th from my grand father
hello gentlemen.
here are the few badges that british soldiers give to my grand father (his parents had a pub in the village) during the WW1 at ZEGERS CAPPEL (25kms betwen DUNKERQUE and ST-OMER) a rest camp. 4th DRAGON GARDS 10th HUSSARS (1916 economie) |

The 10th economy is a thought provoking one if only because they have gone to the trouble of replacing the overlaid crown but have kept the tagged scroll. I suppose the extra time taken to add the scroll would be offset by reusung the POW feathers for other badges.

Malc,
That is a lovely badge and just what I would be looking for in an economy badge. Alan |
