Question On OSD's
Hi,
Looking for confirmation that the Worcestershire Regt wore the bronze service dress badge as per the post 1923 pattern badge. Assuming they did, would anyone have a spare one for sale? Secondly when did the Herefordshire Regt change from the coat of arms on their OSD to the lion? Thanks Andy |

OK, I have managed to determine the OSD does exist as a post 1923 badge.
If anyone has a spare please let me know. I am prepared to pay a fair price for it. Can anyone assist on the Herefordshire OSD information? Thanks Andy |

Hi Andy
As I understand it, the coat of arms badge for OSD of the Herefordshire Regiment was worn from 1908 until 1918. I have checked the website of the regimental museum and you can find reference to it here: http://herefordshirelightinfantrymus...php/history-5/ Best regards |

Here's mine, not a common badge and probably pre WW2.

I have one or two photos with Herefords officers during 1937-39, but by then they had switched to the lion cap and collar badges.
