Sleeve Eagle
This is on ebay, touted as a WW1 or early thereafter Sleeve Eagle for the RAF. Is it really THAT early?

Looks like it is just post WWI according to Dragon's album. |

The red on khaki eagle was introduced in May 1918, with the eagle of this shape. This particular pattern came in by the end of that year and remained until the khaki uniform was officially abolished in 1924.

Interesting. It's construction (woven on a thin canvas/khaki material) seems later than that to me

They are actually on a thick cotton type material. The same were produced in blue.
Are you thinking of the ones produced on rayon for the RCAF summer dress? |
