Unknown Australian Badge
Hi,
Can anyone assist in identifying this badge, which I assume to be Australian. It has 4 holes for sewing on to something. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers John |

I suspect that it is not military, rather it is likely to relate to some fraternal society, similar to the RAOB

Thanks Paul, I did wonder that but thought it may be something more official as it has an Imperial crown at the top.

The ones on line appear to be solid rather than 'pressed' items.

That small rivet to the reverse will probably be how the centre is attached.
Some Australian gold WW1 tribute medals appear solid yet have a pressed front and a back soldered in place. They usually have at least two small blowholes to the reverse. Photo when I can put my hand on an example! |
