Imperial Army Shoulder Title
Can anyone throw some light on this 'R. J. Inglis', S/T please (presuming Canadian, but not sure)?:
Imperial.jpgImperial (1).jpgImperial (6).jpg Also, if you look on the underside of the curve, there appears to be a section (or sections) missing from it... Imperial (2).jpgImperial (3).jpgImperial (4).jpgImperial (5).jpg ...any ideas, please? With thanks, Peter. |

This s/t is made by a Canadian manufacturer, and is in "Canadian" style. Mine has "MTD" beneath the"arch". At first I thought it may have applied to the Palestine/Mesopotamia campaigns of 1WW, where there were lots of "mounted " formations, but the Canadians were not well represented there. Another thought is the South Africa War. I believe Marway Militaria asked about this badge a little time ago; another thought may be it is a slouchhat badge.
