Cloth Conundrums.
Hello to everyone,
I am attaching photos of another group of badges from my collection that I am finding it very difficult to identify. This time a selection of cloth patches. There is quite a mixed bag here. If anyone can shed more light onto these then it is very much appreciated as ever. Regards Bill |

That sounds really interesting Zob thank you. Could you tell me a bit more about number 3? I can't find a reference to it on the net.
Thanks Bill |

Hello Bill, No 18 is 21 ENGR GROUP. Comes in printed and embroidered.
No 6 is similar to a couple of RE signs but I cannot definitely ID it. Sorry I will keep trying. I have come to the conclusion that No 6 is not RE. Jerry.

#10 & #21
Good day Bill,
No. 10 is from Sri Lanka, for a special police force unit. No. 21 is Norwegian, for the brigade located in the north of the country. The colour is new to me as I have examples (in attached photo) that I acquired on a fly-over ex in the mid '80's. Hope this helps Regards, Ian

Hello Ian B
Thank you for identifying numbers 10 and 21. From your excellent info I have managed to find out a bit more about the red variation. It is 6th division Norwegian army (presumably still part of the Brigade Nord?) I have seen the green and black colours of the Sri Lankan patch before on a Special Task Force shoulder title but would not have made the connection without your help. Thanks again Bill |
