Default South Lancs 1st Vol Bttn

Hi Gents,

Posting this for a friend. His father passed away and left him with a lot of militaria, including this helmet plate.

Any info or opinions would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Kevin

Looks to be a very nice Victorian helmet plate. Originally there would have been long brass pins instead of those small brads to affix the parts on back, but that is no big matter.

Yes, it's definitely a good Volunteer Officers' home service helmet plate.
