Default Nutter price or ???? Airborne Auction Lot

I was recently watching the auction for this lot and was a bit taken aback to see
what was paid for this stuff as we head into a global recession. It is not so much the price but the questioned authenticity of many of the patches in this image. The lot sold for 3400 pds, which, with the fees comes to about 4200 pds. (5100$US) I just thought it would be interesting to get opinions on this. What I noted first off, and you can't really see it from these images, is apart from the printed PARACHUTE REGIMENT titles, all the visible cloth titles are likely post-war / reproduction. The letters on the PARACHUTE titles in the box also appear to connect on the front rather than the back causing some suspicion. The only patches immediately recognizable as authentic are the wings but a couple of them might be immediate post-war as well. Anyway regardless of any of that just thought it would make for interesting posts.

I don't know if I am missing some hidden gem in that lot, but from what I can see, there is nothing that would justify such price.

is that an rwf back flash in there?

maybe a named group?

certainly the berets looks fairly modern, I guess the money is in the titles all being genuine, bearing in mind each parachute reg title is c£150, the airborne strips £100, it must add up to near £1500 or more. but if much of it is not correct than that's a lot of money to waste it seems.

The USAAF patch upside down toward the lower right is a very common badge. I collected variations of it at one time and can say it is usually a $2-$3 USD patch and often seen in the dollar box.

Default AIRBORNE

I am certain the AIRBORNE's are post-war/repros. The lettering on the PARACHUTE titles in the box appears to be too close together and not indicative
of any authentic examples I have seen. I am also not 100% certain on the
embroidered PARACHUTE REGIMENT titles. There appears in one photo to be a bluish-grey coloured diamond shaped backing for a Parachute Regiment cap badge???? Anyway good to hear other opinions.
